Expose soft credits in API
For a given donation record, some or all of the amount may be soft credited to a supporter other than the one that canonically gave the donation, e.g. when an org like United Way bundles up a bunch of different gifts and gives one big lump sum.
Today, these soft credits are not available from the API in any of the endpoints. I'd love to see it available either in the donations API, or in its own soft_credits API.

Batch Donation Additional Options
I like the batch donation feature. However, could you please consider adding "Default Amount" and a check box for "Occurrence" so that if it is a monthly support the admin does not have to click "Add Donation" 12 times and so on. Thank you

Upcoming Birthdays Email to Sponsors
It would be nice if there was an automatic email sent out to sponsors whose sponsored child has a birthday coming up. It would be a generic "your child is turning ___, wish him/her a happy birthday!" maybe a few days before the child's birthday.

Conversation Tracking
A date range on the conversation export would be helpful. Also, it would be a huge help if the current conversation report would differentiate between conversations from students vs. sponsors and show sponsorships that have no letters within the date range selected.
Also, if a sponsor deletes their conversations, there is no way to know if letters have been written for tracking purposes. Can these remain in the system but flagged as deleted and not shown to the sponsor?3 votes -
copy last donation feature
We have donors who split their donations into many different categories every month. It would be great to have a "copy last donation" feature. This would pull the purpose and amounts from the last donation.

Add Letter Templates to Conversations
Would like to make it easier for a sponsor to write letters by means of having prompted questions in the letter writing field instead of just having the option to free-write.

Drip Email for for a Reminder of an unopened conversation in the portal
Would love to have the ability to re-send to non-openers after a certain amount of days after an unopened email.

Transfer donation to a different supporter
If a donation is entered under the wrong supporter, it must be deleted and re-entered. It would be great if when you edit a donation, the supporter name can be edited as well.

Allow text body to autosave on 'New Message' page of Conversations.
If a sponsor writes a message and the attachment does not properly attach (file size too large, wrong file type) - the user has to rewrite the entire message. This is frustrating for sponsors. Would also be great feature for sponsor to be able to start a letter and return to it later. RD

Connect campaign theme to parent campaign
It would be great if we could connect a campaign theme to a parent campaign, so that when a supporter campaign is created, it automatically pulls the campaign theme and info connected to it.

Streamline supporter campaign registration
When folks click to create their supporter campaign they are directed to sign in or create an account. Once they are signed in/up they should be taken to the page to set up the campaign, rather than being taken to the Reach Home page. Many folks create their Reach account and think they have set up their campaign.

Have two separate options for donating in memory and in honour.
Have two separate options for donating in memory and in honour. For in memory, provide a separate email confirmation sent to a loved one with the option to have the person donated in memory of's name added - ex. "A donation has been made in honour of ___", instead of one email for both saying "a donation was made in your honor". This doesn't really work when the person is deceased.

Ability to create Supporter types
It would be helpful to have the ability to create different supporter types for individuals, organizations, etc.
Having Sponsorship Types is extremely helpful. Supporter types is equally important to our organization.

Transfer sponsorships
When a child leaves the mission, i have to cancel that sponsorship and set the supporter up under a new sponsorship from scratch. It would be great to be able to transfer the sponsorship seamlessly without having to re-enter their payment information again.

Notification emails for new recurring donations
I would like for Reach to have the option to send notifications to admin users when a donor signs up for a new recurring donation, similar to how we can get email notifications when a donor signs up for a new sponsorship.

Add ability to 'Task' Conversations.
Add the ability to 'Task' Conversations via the drop down menu on the main page. This will allow us to assign accountability for messages. For example, if we receive 40 messages for 4 countries in a day - we can task messages to a specific admin to process. RD

Add 'External Reference ID' column to the Conversations main admin page.
Ideally between 'Unread' and 'Supporter' columns. This would allow us to differentiate which country a child is being sponsored in and who is responsible for processing the message instead of all admin individually opening every conversation. Alternatively, adding a Country column instead of External Reference ID would assist with this. RD

Support customization of the email sponsors receive when a message response has been sent in Conversations.
Currently the automatic email says, 'You have received a message from <organization>! Go to <generic link> to view your conversations.'. Want the ability to customize the verbiage and graphics of this email to deliver a more branded and personal experience for the sponsor. RD

Create a Conversations Outbox
Create an Outbox. Sent messages appear in the sponsor's inbox and they have the option to reply to themselves. This is confusing to sponsors. Sent messages should be stored in an outbox instead of an inbox. RD
