Currently the only way to change an amount on a recurring donation is to cancel said donation, and start a whole new donation with a new amount. This is tedious and not user friendly for end users.

Research shows this is the type of lack of user friendliness that can turn donors away. Ideally a user would be able to just update the amount of the current donation directly, without all the hassle.
