  1. Can the cart check if item is still available before completing the transaction?

    If someone puts the last of a product in their cart but don't purchase it, then someone else puts it in their cart because it still shows available, both are able to purchase the one remaining item. The result is a -1 quantity and the purchase of a product no longer available. Is there a way to have the cart check for availability of the product before completing the transaction?

  2. Recurring Tasks

    I send out quarterly reminders to delinquent donors, but I have donors that request reminders throughout the year, whether it be monthly, annually, or bi-annually, etc. I set tasks up in donors accounts to remind me to send the reminder, and it would be really helpful if there was an option to make the task recurring so that I don't have to set up a new task for each reminder.

  3. Send an email in advance to a supporter when their credit card number is expiring.

    It would be great if Reach sent an email in advance (say a month) to supporters when their credit card expiration date is expiring.

    This feature exists in REACH. The service notifies donors who have a recurring donation 2 months in advance that their credit card is expiring soon.

  4. bulk import photos for updating sponsorships

    We update the kids' photos every year. This is very slow because we have to upload each one individually. It would be great to be able to upload them all at once, then match each photo with the child to replace their old photo.

  7. General Ledger account field on every set-up for donation/payment.

    It's a basic thought to me that a general ledger account field should be included. Why not make mapping export to the financial system easier??
    It would be best to have a COA with a # and text field , then in every place where donation is set-up the associated GL is a drop-down list based on the COA the user set. (This is COA would only include company income accounts).

  8. Session Time out warning

    We have had multiple donors who have lost letters they were writing in the conversation area, because of the way the session time out is set up. I understand that we can't really update or lengthen this time, but is there a way that you can populate a warning that the time available has passed? Something that pops up with wording such as "For security reasons and protection of data, your session has expired."

  9. Check / Cash payment processing, products & all

    Payment for products by cash or check; an Admin user needs to be able to process them. Add this feature.

    An Admin user needs to be able to process all types of payments from all sources. Cash and checks are still quite common, and there is no reason this shouldn't be standard in admin processing of receivables.

  10. Automatic age calculation in child profile. Urgently needed.

    In the child profile we enter the DOB then we also have to enter the age of the child manually. The system can easily generate the age and update the profile automatically at each birthday.
    The manual process of "add one" to the age is not good or accurate when doing a mass update.

    If an account is still using a custom field for the sponsorship’s date of birth they can use the “Birth Date Conversion” under Data Setup > Custom Fields then the Bulk Update tab.

    At this point, a child’s age can be dynamically calculated and displayed using sponsorship.age.

  11. offline donors

    Hi!

    Someone reached out asking about our experience using reach and I told them lots of great things. I did mention the one thing that has been bugging me the last few years about using your site so I thought I should share it with you to see if it’s something that could be added. Maybe it already exists and I don’t know about it?

    The feature that I would like to see added is a way of managing offline donor's payments. We have quite a few donors that send checks (using lumped into one with donations for staff salaries…

  12. Link siblings

    We would love to see siblings linked to their brother/sister if at all possible. This allows a supporter to see if others in a family need sponsored and often leads to those siblings getting sponsored.

  13. View & sort the custom fields in realtime along with system-wide columns

    We have certain custom fields that we use a lot. REACH currently, as of May 2019, does not include custom fields columns to be viewed in real time, you have to download a report to sort etc. The sponsorship activity report is very useful but does not include custom fields. It would be much more efficient to be able to view, sort, filter, etc. the custom fields real time instead of having to download a report to do so.

  14. Create SUPPORTER Reports

    In Reports there is now way to create a custom supporter list...I can for sponsors, but not supporters. We would like to be able to generate a report with supporters contact details.

    The primary reason would be to be able to export a montly list of all the supporters in the group "Mailed Newsletters" so we can create the newsletter mailing labels.

  16. Create a different redirect page when a child is sponsored, rather than "Page Not Found"

    We like to post individual sponsorship links on our social media accounts to promote sponsorship. However, once a child is sponsored, that link becomes a “page not found” message, which can be discouraging and a "dead end" for those interested. Is it possible for that redirect to become something like what Compassion International has?
    "Thank you but this child has been sponsored by someone else! Here are some other children in need of sponsorship." ... with a link for people to see/click on other available children.

    You can now customize your 404 page to include items like unsponsored sponsorships instead of a standard page not found message.

  17. Have a report for customers who want to be contacted by mail

    It would be beneficial for us if we could run a report of supporters who have chosen to be contacted by mail.

    By creating a Custom Dropdown Field to hold Mail Preferences, Supporters can be Exported via the Supporters Module / Export Supporters – with the ability to filter by the custom dropdown field.

    Any custom dropdown filed will also be available as a Filter Option under Reports.

  18. Create an event management module.

    REACH should get into Event management software. Virtually all non-profits hold fundraisers for which guest check-in and silent auctions are usually critical components of managing guests. We have to go to external vendors for this capability, making integration of guest email capture very difficult. A module that handles this and integrates into REACH and our website would be great to have.

    The REACH Donation Details Report allows an admin to select Projects: All Projects, or select Projects – to report on donations. Once the Summary is created, by downloading the CSV or Excel file, all Supporter Information is included.

    New early 2021 – REACH Reports now offer Multi Select Options and the ability to select Columns to Display.

  20. Variants Priced Seperately

    Enable variants of a single product in the store to be priced separately. For example, a 16oz mug vs a 12 oz mug of the same design could be one item in the store but have different costs in the variant drop down.
