Right now you'd need to only use Conversation, new, by sponsor, and help article doesn't exactly make clear who's sender and recipient - please add 2 buttons for "Sponsor to Child" and "Child to Sponsor".
From Sponsor account, Actions would be a great place. Same with Child's. Thanks!
